  • Y KidZone is a free membership service for adults who have an active Y membership.
  • It is a Y policy that all children be signed in and out by parent, legal guardian, grandparents, or other family member when attending Y KidZone. Children should never be left in KidZone area unless there is a Y staff member present in KidZone to accept them.
  • Children who are ill, who have had a fever, diarrhea, vomiting, rash or unknown source, discharge of the eyes or ears, green discharge from the nose or any contagious diseases or infection will not be accepted into the KidZone. If your child is too sick to attend school or other activitles, they are not to attend Y KIdZone.

There will be a late penalty for anyone picking up children after the 2-hour maximum time limit per day or for anyone picking up their child outside of KidZone operation hours. A warning will be placed on your account, the next infraction may result in a temporary suspension (1 week) of our Y KidZone service and excessive misusage may result in a longer suspension or even discontinuation of services.
  • Behavior: If your child cries for more than 15 minutes, you will be notified. If your child bites, hits, kicks or spits at another child or staff, you will be asked to remove them. If this behavior continues other visits, we reserve the right to discontinue service.
  • Outside food and drink may be limited to designated snack times and specific as to what type of snacks are allowable.
  • Parents may not leave the Y premises at any time that their child or children are in Y KidZone.

The exchange of information about a child from a parent's perspective and a staff perspective is very helpful. Any special requests or information that will help us serve you and your child should be sent in writing to the Y's KidZone.
